One day you are scrolling through someone’s travel blog pictures (Bruised passport) and second day you want to write one yourself. Yeah, That has been a journey of my life! Very prompt! Very in the moment! Well, now when I think about it, it reflects in many big decisions of my life but that is a story for other day 😉
Okay, What is that now?
When you google how to start a blog, one of the first suggestions you get is: To find a niche. What are you offering to people? Why should they read you? When I started blogging about two months ago, I did not know a thing about it. I did not even care to know about that. I knew I am doing it for myself. Just a way to document my travels. To click nice pictures, write recommendations and tips for people who might want to go there at some point of time. That’s how it all started.
Later on, I started looking at what others are doing. What is their style of blogging? What kind of destinations or writing style? I found so many amazing travel bloggers from India (I am so ashamed to admit that it was a big surprise to me!). Amazing work guys, keep it up! So Proud! Among these two, two people that highly impressed me were: Shivya from The Shooting Star and Neelima from The Wandering soul’s wander tales.
The reason I hooked to their travel style was that it was so different from how I generally travel but looks so much more fun and challenging. It is very off beat and most importantly responsible and green travel (which by the way I did not know is a thing like till a month ago! Series of being ashamed continues!).
And it was decided then. This is what I want. I want to do something that matters. However small, I will try to give it back to the blogging community and the environment.
So what does that mean for the blog?
The blog, website everything remains the same. My personal travel style will change. My post style will change. But nice colorful pictures will keep coming! You will hear more about places less explored or at least less-explored aspects of the same places you have been reading about. So, mostly European cities but with a different lens now! But I am promoting lot of local tourism as well. So, I will be sharing many articles about Eco-lodges, responsible tourism and beautiful India as well. So, Keep following me:

Don’t miss out the fun and amazing offers I am advertising on my blog! You can also find these links at the top and left side of the website. Now, it is even more important for me to spread the word around. I am doing my bit. I hope you do yours as well 🙂
As I said before, it took me a few days to decide that I want to start blogging but I never thought why am I doing this. I asked myself this question now: Why blogging? The reason turned out to be that I wanted to become a voice. Voice that is heard somewhere. So, what changed now? : I guess I don’t want to be just a voice now. I want to be the one that makes a difference.
So. Looking forward to this new venture and I hope you will keep loving me! <3
Go Green! Go Local 🙂
