Look closely at the picture above. Do you think you have seen the Meteora before?
Meteora is a greek word that translates to ‘suspended in the air’ or ‘middle of the sky’. It is a name given to the huge gravity-defying rock formations near a small town in Greece. Today these formations house six huge Orthodox Christian monasteries and offer a splendid view. More on these later but now back to original question: Have you seen the Meteora before?
Yes! You might have.
This interesting play of nature has caught eyes of various artists and has been an inspiration for various international movies.
So, think again and now tell me. Have you seen them before? If yes, where? Leave your answers in comments below 🙂
