Why book reviews?
Reading is my second favorite thing to do! Reading and traveling always go together for me. Be it long flights, train rides, or sleepless nights, everything is much more fun and productive when reading. When I started this blog, I wanted this blog to represent my thoughts and my experiences. And books are a big part of it. It won’t be right to leave them alone! So, I am making them a part of it! 🙂
What types of books?
As I mentioned already I am a big fan of fiction, mostly books here will be fantasy. So get ready for lots of Harry potter and Game of thrones references! Other than fantasy and adventure, I like fiction as well. Big fan of Khaled Hosseini (read all his books!) and Jodi Picoult (cried like a baby when I finished My Sister’s Keeper).
I love printed books but I am getting used to the Kindle now! It gives you more options, is environment friendly and offers books at cheaper prices! Printed books: Touch and smell. No other argument needed 😀
So far I read about 100 books and have an infinitely large “to be read” list! I love reading first and then finding differences in the movie/TV series! I hope occasional movie bashing is okay!
How is it going to work?
I will be posting book reviews once in a while about the books that I liked. Those who are not into reading (for reasons I don’t understand :D), don’t worry! The blog will not bore you! I will try my best to keep the balance between the two! My post announcements will always announce if it is about books or travel. So, easier for you to decide if you want to devote your next 5 minutes on the new post. And those who are into reading, High-five guys! I am counting on you guys! And yeah, you can add me on Goodreads as well (for those who don’t know it: It is like Facebook about books!; without your friends posting wedding and baby pictures :D!).
Tip: I bought Kindle from my Amazon Germany account but realized that kindle books are much cheaper on Amazon India. So, I changed my affiliation and linked my kindle to Amazon India account (I already had an Amazon India account) and now get books at much cheaper prices :D. I know: I am so smart 😀
I usually prefer Kindle Paperwhite for its ease and good performance. Click on the image above to get your very own Kindle paperwhite!
So looking forward to share my reviews with you guys! Keep reading and keep traveling!
Lots of love,
